Save the Dream and Global Child Forum Unite to Advance Children’s Rights in Sports

Save the Dream and Global Child Forum are pleased to announce a strategic partnership aimed at safeguarding children in sport. Global Child Forum, a leading global platform for the promotion and advancement of children’s rights will collaborate with Save the Dream on a series of specific initiatives which address the situation of childrens’ rights and sports at a global level.

The agreement, signed today at the 2015 Global Child Forum at the Royal Palace in Stockholm,, will act as a starting point for cooperation between the two organisations and lead to better understanding and mapping of the sport-related risks children face in different countries and regions. This partnership follows on from Save the Dream’s on-going collaboration with UNICEF which aims to protect children from misconduct which may occur in sport and threats to children which are associated with the organisation of major sporting events.
