The ICSS can design, develop and deliver bespoke training and education programmes fully adaptable to specific requirements. We have categorised key sport safety and security subject areas to ensure comprehensive coverage of the essential knowledge required to meet the demands of modern mega-sporting events (MSEs).
These include but are not limited to:
General safety and security awareness;
Safety and security roles, responsibilities, operational planning and integration;
Protective security;
Crisis and emergency management;
Command, control and communication (C3);
Private security operations and safety stewarding at spectator events; and
COVID-19: safety and security planning for the new normal.
Jointly with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the ICSS has the capability to provide internationally certified and accredited training programmes to promote sports safety and security industry standards and best practices in the context of MSEs.
