Sport Integrity Training and Advanced Education Programme

Sport Integrity Training and Advanced Education Programme

Mexican Football Association, the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) and the Centre International de Formation des Autorités et Leaders (CIFAL) from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), have established the internationally certified ‘Sport Integrity Training and Advanced Education Programme’ for the benefit of sport federations, leagues, clubs, law enforcement authorities, regulators and other relevant stakeholders concerned about the integrity of sports.

In the field of sport integrity, the ICSS works in close cooperation with key international organizations such as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the international Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), the World Bank and UNESCO. Moreover, the ICSS is an active member of the European Union’s Expert Group on Sport Integrity (XG Integrity), the Europol Platform for Experts and the European Parliament’s Intergroup on Sport. The Centre has also contributed to drafting and advancement of important international instruments, such as the Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions and the Declaration of Berlin, adopted by the 5th World Conference of Sport Ministers (MINEPS V) and UNESCO’s Kazan Action Plan adopted by MINEPS VI.
The work of ICSS in the capacity-building area is based on leading research and reports, including but not limited to:
